The Old Granary pub in Wareham is located on Wareham Quay and offers great views of the river Frome. The family and dog friendly pub is open every day from 11am until late.

The Old Granary Wareham Menu
Part of the Hall & Woodhouse Family, you can expect to find some classics on the menu including their Steak & Tanglefoot pie. However there are some unique menu items offering different choices for lunch and dinner.
As well as a lunch menu, there are also main meals available to order at any time. If you’re visiting on a Sunday, you can enjoy the Sunday roasts on offer.
Facilities At The Old Granary Wareham
You’ll find both indoor and outside seating at The Old Granary pub. There is limited outside seating at the front of the pub, however a better place to sit would be the outside terrace at the rear of the pub.
If you have a Blue Light card, you can receive 15% off food orders in all Hall & Woodhouse pubs. There’s also guest wifi available to connect to during your visit.
The Old Granary has a nice light, yet cosy feel to it. The pub area is brightly lit with the views of the river, yet the restaurant dining area is a much more cosy place to enjoy a meal.
Our Experience
We visited The Old Granary on a Saturday which also happens to be market day in Wareham. We have been meaning to explore the Two Rivers walk in Wareham, so decided to fuel up before setting off.
Despite not booking, we were seated quickly, and the staff were almost apologetic they couldn’t seat us by the window with those amazing river views.
Sometimes it feels like if you have dined in a Hall & Woodhouse pub, you could memorise what is on the menu. However we were pleasantly surprised to find some unique lunch options including a falafel and beetroot salad.
Our server was very helpful with ordering, and also providing us with some of the history of the pub when we asked.
Water was brought to our table as soon as we were seated which I always think is a nice touch. We didn’t feel rushed at all during our meal, and would definitely return.
