The Horns Inn At Parley is an old coaching inn with a large garden area. Located at 182 Christchurch Rd, West Parley, Ferndown BH22 8SS, the pub is close to Ferndown, West Parley and Bournemouth Airport. The family and dog friendly pub is open every day from 11am until late.
With a large beer garden and outside seating, you will always find somewhere to sit and relax with a drink or meal. During the colder months, the pub has an open fire and candles on all the tables for a cosy setting.

Horns Inn Parley Menu
The tables hosted a variety of menus to choose from. The day time menu lasts until 4pm and then the evening menu takes over. You’ll find pub classics such as burgers, fish and chips and steak on the menu. There are also some other less traditional options including duck breast and seabass.
If you’re visiting during the late morning when the pub opens, you can take advantage of the brunch menu. You can also book an afternoon tea, or visit for a Sunday roast at the weekend.
We spotted some lunch and evening meal deals when we visited, so if you’re looking to enjoy a set menu this may also be an option.

Facilities At Horns Inn Parley
The Horns Inn is very dog friendly both inside and out, there are even dog treats on the bar. The outside seating at The Horns Inn has both garden seating with sun parasols for the Summer months, and also covered gazebo style areas as well.
The pub is large both indoor and out, and we found there was plenty of seating options when we visited.
With TV screens in the pub, there is the option to watch some of the big sporting events that take place. You’ll also find various events taking place through the year according to the season. For example the Christmas season offer a Christmas Eve disco and a Christmas quiz.

Our Experience
Our visit took place midweek during the early evening. When we arrived the pub was quite quiet, and there may have been a change over from day to evening staff. We were seated quickly, however as we hadn’t visited before we weren’t sure whether we needed to order at the bar or receive table service.
The menus on the table were day menus and we had to ask more than once for evening menus. Once we received the correct menus and confirmation of ordering at the bar, our experience ran a lot more smoothly.
With the extensive choice on food, we were quite spoiled for choice. The food was really tasty, the plates were warm, and it all looked lovely and freshly cooked. Both of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals and really couldn’t fit a dessert in which was a shame.

Despite thinking the service was a little off, we would return for another visit. The value for money was good compared to other nearby pubs, and the menu is varied to encourage trying something new.
