Aunt Fannys Wimborne is a farm show & cafe located just outside Wimborne town centre at BH21 4HW. The cafe and farm shop is open between 9am – 4pm Monday to Saturday and 10am – 4pm on Sundays.
Inside Aunt Fannys the decor is eclectic and very unique. There are tea cups and jugs hanging from the ceiling which look really pretty against the outer structure.
During the warmer weather, there is outside seating, and this is where in the Summer the pizza evenings are also held.
The farm shop and cafe was named with a reference to Enid Blyton’s Famous Five. The menu has clever titled references to the books, and you’ll even spot some of the books dotted about the cafe.

Our Experience
During our last visit, the majority of our group opted for afternoon tea. I don’t know about you but I can never finish an afternoon tea so chose the smaller option without the sandwiches. This was plenty of food, and with the tea pots being refilled, I could still barely finish everything.
Some of our group ordered the toasted sandwich which also looked really tasty on the plate. Personally I spotted other delicious dishes arriving at nearby tables, and am already looking forward to a return visit to sample more items from the menu.
Our afternoon tea was well presented on perfectly mis matching crockery. Everything just fits without matching. The home made scones came out warm, and the cakes were huge slices.
I don’t think any of our group left hungry at all, in fact I know there were some cakes taken home as we couldn’t fit them all in.
