The high street in Christchurch is taken over every Monday for market day. With plenty of convenient parking in Christchurch, why not pop by for a wander through the market stalls between 9am and 4pm.
The Dorchester market on a Wednesday is one of the biggest markets in Dorset with over 200 traders. There are both outdoor stalls and also stalls undercover. The market is open between 8am and 1pm opposite Brewery Square all year round.

The Lyme Regis Farmers market takes place on the second Saturday of the month in the Marine Parade Shelters. You’ll find local producers, makers and growers from a 30 mile radius offering fantastic selection of produce.
The Minster market in Wimborne takes place every Friday at the Allendale Centre in Wimborne. You’ll find traders here from the previous large market in Wimborne, and lots of local produce.

The Sherborne Markets takes place once a month along Cheap Street, Abbey Road, Half Moon Street, Digby Road and Pageant Gardens. Stalls are trading between 10am and 3pm on the dates the market is open.
The Swanage market is open all year round from 8am until 1pm in the Main beach car park. With just a short walk into town and the beach, you can combine your visit to Swanage market with a good day out.

Wareham Quay Market
You’ll find this outdoor market in Wareham open on Saturdays from 8am. There are plenty of stalls with offerings from local produce to flowers and fruit and vegetables. Why not combine market day with a visit to the Old Granary pub as well.
Whilst there is no longer a large market in the Swannery car park, the Weymouth Farmers market runs on a Sunday between June and October at Weymouth High School.
