Where to see fireworks in Dorset this year. Dorset hosts some amazing Summer fireworks, as well as the traditional Autumn displays.
Bonfire night is on Thursday 5th November in 2026, falling just after October half term and Halloween. Across the county there are some great local fireworks displays scheduled to go ahead.

Summer Fireworks In Dorset
West Bay Day Fireworks
Date: 2nd August 2026
West Bay weekend will have live music from 2pm and a BBQ from 12pm. Enjoy the craft stalls and games on the green and finish off the weekend with a firework display on Sunday at 10pm.
Poole Quay Fireworks
Dates: 2026 TBC
The Poole Quay Summer fireworks are back on Thursday nights through the Summer between 31st July and 28th August. There is free live music, entertainments and fireworks every Thursday.

Lyme Regis Spectacular Summer Fireworks Display
Date: 31st July 2026
This free event will kick off Lyme Regis Regatta and Carnival week. Watch from Langmoor and Lister Gardens or anywhere along the seafront near the sandy beach.

Christchurch Carnival And Fireworks
Dates: 15th August 2026
There will be displays and fun activities on the quay in Christchurch as well as music, events and a funfair. The end of the Saturday night sees an impressive and free fireworks display in the evening.

Flameburst Verwood
The Fuzzy Bit, Verwood, Dorset, BH31 6QF
Dates: 2026 TBC
There are two fireworks displays at Flameburst in Verwood as well as a small fair and entertainment. The gates open at 6pm with the junior display at 7pm and the main display happening at 8.45pm.
Butchers Coppice Family Fireworks
Bear Cross, Bournemouth, BH11 9JW
Date: 2026 TBC
Gates open at 5.30pm at this Bournemouth fireworks event and the fire is lit at 6pm. The guy competition begins at 7pm with the fireworks being scheduled for 7.30pm.
Lyme Regis Bonfire Night And Fireworks

Watch the fireworks as they light up the sky over the harbour and warm yourself by the huge bonfire on the beach.
The Cobb provides a fantastic backdrop for the stunning display with Lister and Langmoor gardens offering a wonderful vantage point to view the explosive night of fireworks.
Firework Night On Poole Quay
Poole, Dorset, BH15 1BW
Date: 2026 TBC
Starting from 5pm on one of the biggest nights of the year. There will be live music, family entertainment and activities, and the big firework finale at 8pm.
The Quay car parks will get very busy, but there is alternative parking at the Dolphin Shopping Centre a ten minute or so walk away.
This is a free event in Poole.
West Bay Fireworks – Bonfire On The Beach
Date: 2026 TBC
West Bay will be hosting a bonfire with fireworks for the whole family to enjoy. Fireworks will commence at 8:00pm, and there will also be a bar, family entertainment, hot food and live music.
The evening is free of charge with any profits going towards local charities and groups working for the benefit of the local community.
Coastal Cruises Fireworks Cruise

Weymouth Community Beach Bonfire And Fireworks

A free annual Big Guy Fawkes Event on Weymouth Seafront. Beginning at 4pm with the family funfair on the Pavilion Forecourt. There’s also some traditional stalls and attractions.
The giant beach bonfire is lit at 7.40 pm, followed by the fantastic fireworks display in Weymouth Bay at 8.00 pm.
Littledown Fireworks
Chaseside, BH7 7DX
Date: 2026 TBC
Gates open from 5.30 with a giant funfair. There are 3 firework displays included in the price with a great indoor arena featuring live displays and kids disco.
Littledown fireworks display times are 7pm, 8pm and 9pm. The 7pm display is perfect for families and the quietest of the evening firework displays.
The 8pm display is the busiest that will also include something a little extra special.
The 9pm white knuckle firework display at Littledown Centre in Bournemouth is full of colour and noise.
Bransgore Fireworks Display

The Three Tuns, Ringwood Road, Christchurch
Gates will open at 5.30pm with ticket sales being online only. There will also be plenty of food, drinks and treats available to purchase, as well as novelty glow products.
Dorchester Rugby Club Fireworks
Coburg Rd, Dorchester DT1 2HX

The gates will open at 6pm with the fireworks display happening at 8pm in Dorchester at the Rugby Club. There will also be food concessions and entertainment.
Wareham Wednesdays Bonfire & Firework Extravaganza

At Wareham Recreation Ground, there will be live music, food stalls and a bbq. There will also be a fun fair. Under 10’s go FREE.
Bridport Grand Firework Display

Bridport Rugby Club are bringing back the Grand fireworks display to the club house. The event starts at 6pm with the fireworks display at 8pm.
Halloween Fireworks At Minterne
Minterne Magna, Dorchester DT2 7AU

Minterne House will be celebrating with a bang this Halloween. You can enjoy a spectacular firework display on Friday 3rd November at Minterne Gardens.
The garden gates will be open from 5pm with the display starting at 7:30pm. A selection of food will be available to purchase on the night and a bar will also be open.
Sherborne Castle Fireworks

Gates open at 4.30pm, with a laser show at 7pm and fireworks at 7.30pm. There will also be a fun fair, hot and cold food and drink and a bar available.
Labelled as Dorset’s biggest foreworks display, the 25 minute full on pyro-musical show is choreographed and synchronised to a unique sound track.
