Visit the museum in Bournemouth for some fun Halloween crafts this October Half Term.
Littledown Halloween Disco
Date: 31st October 2024
Dress to impress in your best Halloween costume for a chance to win one of many prizes at the Littledown Halloween disco. Suitable for children ages 2.5 – 8 years old.
Sessions include 1-2pm, 2:30-3:30pm and 4-5pm. Tickets £6.50 per child
Halloween Family Fun At Red House Museum

There’s some fun Halloween activities taking place at the Red House Museum this October. Why not join in the spooky woodland walk and trail taking place on multiple days. Or there’s there’s various Halloween themed workshops taking place too.
The Etches Collection

During October Half Term, visit The Etches Collection at Kimmeridge to take part in some spooky activities. There’s a free marine monsters activity trail and fossil mould painting.
You can also take part in other activities including designing a scary dino mask.
Halloween At Farmer Palmers

Back for 2024 is the popular Halloween schedule at Farmer Palmers. The Soak a Spook tractor ride will be making an appearance, as well as the pumpkin pick, witches races and the spooky maize maze.
Halloween Fun At Nothe Fort
Dates: 26th October – 3rd November 2024
You can visit the ghostly tunnels during Halloween week at Nothe Fort. All the activities are included in the standard Nothe Fort admission.
There’s also a vampire photobooth, pumpkin golf, potion school and Halloween games.
Abbotsbury Swannery Spooky Space & Science
Date: 26th October – 3rd November 2024
This year’s theme is spooky science and space, discover the mad professor skeletons and crazy aliens around the Swannery. Hidden within the Swannery grounds will be a secret word carved in the Pumpkins. Follow the trail to collect the letters and uncover the secret word!
Also within the Swannery Classroom is an extra activity, book your spot in advance with Professor Lee from Mini Professors for a spooky science workshop. Hands on experiments, potions and explosions!

Bincombe Bumps Pumpkin Festival

You can take part in pumpkin picking, a haunted house and trick or treat. The perfect autumnal day out in Dorset. Dogs on leads are also welcomed.

Halloween At Sandworld

If you’re visiting Weymouth this October half term and thinking of visiting Sandworld then you’re in for a treat. There is FREE entry for adults and kids in full fancy dress.
As well as the amazing sand sculptures, there’s also a Halloween hunt and a sand pumpkin carving competition.
Halloween In Brewery Square

There is lots of great family spooky fun at Brewery Square this October Half Term. Enjoy the ghost trail, spooky crafts and circus skills workshop. There’s also trick or treating, pumpkin carving and fancy dress.

Halloween Trails At Minterne Gardens
Dates: 9th October – 4th November 2024
Visit Minterne this Halloween and discover the spooky trails. Set around the Himalayan Garden, you’ll be greeted by giant spiders, pumpkin creatures and barmy bats.
There are treats for the children at the end of the trail and also home grown pumpkins.
Fright Night & Kids Disco At Vurlands

If you like a spooly night out, then why not book tickets to fright night at Vurlands Animal Farm in Dorchester. There will be a spooky trail with live actors and a pumpkin and light trail for the little ones.

During October on your visit to Weymouth Sea Life Adventure Park, you can take part in the Ascarium event. Complete magical challenges to join the arm of sea defenders.

Dates: 26th October – 3rd November 2024
Visit Sherborne Castle to complete the Autumn pumpkin trail. Follow the trail around the garden to discover the pumpkins and solve the clues along the way. Prizes are available at the end of the trail.
Hengistbury Head Halloween Trail
