The 2022 Tour of Britain will be showcasing Dorset for the first time in history. What an iconic even happening in Dorset in September!
The Tour of Britain is the UK’s biggest professional cycle race taking place between Sunday 4 – 11 September 2022.
On Saturday 10th September, stage seven of the Tour Of Britain will begin its Dorset route from West Bay at 11am. The schedule will then be:-
West Bay Esplanade – 11am

There will be rolling road closures in places which means that roads will be closed by Police vehicles for short periods of time, generally for around 30 minutes. This is to allow the cyclists to pass through safetly.
If you are planning on visiting an area to watch the race, it’s recommended you arrive early to secure your parking and viewing space.
An advance vehicle will pass through the area around 15 minutes before the cyclists.
