Swanage Bijou Camping

Open between July and September, you can stay just a 7 minute walk away from the beach at Swanage Bijou camping. The whole site is on a flat level, so no worrying about laying on an angle here!
Site facilities include showers, freezer, fridge and electric points, adventure playground and skatepark located right next door to the park.
Small open fires and bbq’s are permitted outside your tents raised off the ground.
Swanage Coastal Park
5 Priests Way, Swanage BH19 2RS
You’ll find a mix of both grass and hardstanding concrete pitches at Swanage Coastal Park with electric hook up available. The pitch price covers up to six people, one car, one tent, caravan or motorhome, plus all the entertainment available on site
Site facilities include hot showers, free WIFI across the park, children’s play area and launderette.

Coombe Farm Camping
Valley Rd, Swanage BH19 3DW
You’ll be spoilt for stunning scenery with views across Swanage Downs when staying at Coombe Farm. The site covers 13 acres and is surrounded by trees, providing a great sense of peace and quiet.
Facilities are basic here, perfect for getting away from it all. You will find portaloos, a standpipe and washing up bench. There aren’t any showers or WIFI.

Herston Caravanning and Camping

You’ll discover both grass and hardstanding pitches with electric hook up at Herston. Non electric pitches are also available for hire.
Site facilities include a mini market, play area, showers and toilets and a bar and restaurant for when you don’t want to self cater.

Acton Field Camping Site

Enjoy views of the Jurassic Coast, Swanage Bay and even the Isle of Wight from Acton Field campsite. It’s the ideal base for walking and exploring with plenty of bridle paths nearby
The site offers unallocated pitches allowing you to camp near friends. On site facilities include showers and toilets, washing up sinks, freezers for ice packs. There are electric points for hairdryers and a shaver socket.

Tom’s Field Campsite

If you’re looking to go back to basics, then staying at Tom’s Field campsite is for you. On site facilities include a shop, toilets and showers, washing up areas, baby changing and mobile phone charging.
Taking a torch is a must to find your way around at night in the fields.

Downshay Farm Campsite

There are spacious fields with views across to Corfe Castle at Downshay Farm. Facilities include showers and toilet blocks, washing up areas and a mobile shop that visits.
The site is very family friendly, and a great place to stay in the heart of the countryside if you want to get away from it all. Also onsite is a shepherd’s hut and bell tent.
California Campsite
California Cottage California Cottage, Swanage BH19 2RS
Located close to the cliffs along the Jurassic Coast, the camping field is a great spot for walkers and explorers.
Facilities on site are basic, but clean toilets, washbasins with running water are provided. You can enjoy a fire pit away from your tent area in the evenings.

The Railway Campsite

Back to basics camping close to the iconic Swanage railway. On site facilities include running water, showers and toilet facilities. Locally there are also two great parks and shops for your convenience.
Honesty box stalls are located in the camping area providing eggs and seasonal vegetables.
Quarr Camping

A family run and rural camping site situated between Corfe Castle and Swanage. The site can accommodate tents, campervans, and tourers on a range of non allocated pitches. You can choose where to pitch at this family and dog friendly site near the beach.

Putlake Camping

Putlake camping is a turn up and pitch site, no booking is required. Showers are operated by tokens which are available from the shop or tearooms (50p per token, for 4 minutes each). The onsite shop stocks some camping essentials just incase you have forgotten anything.
Ulwell Holiday Park
Ulwell Road, Swanage BH19 3DG
If you’re looking for a holiday park in Swanage with plenty of facilities then check out Ulwell Holiday Park. With an indoor swimming pool and large play area, the park is perfect for families.
You’ll also find a bar, restaurant and shop on site, with everything you need for your self catering stay in Dorset.
