By the pier is the famous Harry Ramsden’s fish and chip restaurant with a side takeaway window making this a very convenient location for enjoying fish and chips on Bournemouth beach.

If you go after six pm on a Summer’s evening, you should find the crowds are starting to thin out after a long day on the beach and some space available for you to enjoy watching the waves whilst you enjoy your food.

Charmouth Beach Fish And Chips

Charmouth beach is famous for fossil hunting in Dorset. If you have arrived in the later part of the day and decide to stay for a lovely fish and chip supper on the beach, then the Charmouth Fish Bar isn’t far away.

On a busy evening there is likely to be a queue, however reviews suggest that queue is worth waiting in line for, as they have some of the best fish and chips in Charmouth.

Hive beach is a shingle beach with a National Trust run car park. This is perfect for National Trust members looking for a cheap day out to save on parking.

Very close to Lulworth Cove is Finleys Cafe, the perfect choice for some takeaway fish and chips. There is a large car park on site which is chargeable by the hour. Why not combine your fish and chips on the beach with a nice walk at Lulworth Cove.

If you park anywhere near Swanage beach, you will find plenty of fish and chip shops in the town and near the quay. There is a reasonably priced short stay car park behind the Santa Fe Fun Park. Sandbanks beach is a popular tourist location, and attracts plenty of locals too!

One of the nearest fish and chip takeaways to Sandbanks is TJ’s Fish and Chips (254 Sandbanks Rd, Lilliput, Poole, BH14 8HA).

Just a 5 minute drive away, your food should still be hot when you arrive at the beach.
