Our Review Of The Riviera Hotel In Bournemouth
As I mentioned we enjoyed our wedding at the Riviera Hotel, however we also stayed again recently on a short break.
We arrived on a quiet night and were able to enjoy the pool and spa facilities before dinner. The pool is booked at reception where you reserve your time slot. As we were the only ones enjoying the pool at that time, we weren’t restricted on the time.
For dinner on the night we stayed, the Cunarder restaurant was closed so we dined in the Bridge Bar & Grill. As I mentioned the menu is the same, so we actually enjoyed a very relaxed meal. We were able to move to sit in the comfy chairs after our meal.

We stayed in a double room with a balcony and sea view. The weather didn’t behave very well for our stay and the morning view was quite misted. I can definitely see the appeal of sitting on the balcony with a tea or coffee. The perfect chance to enjoy the view on a nice day.
Our double room was clean with plenty of facilities. My only criticism was there wasn’t a lot of space between the end of the bed and the dressing table. As all rooms will be designed differently, I’m sure this wont be the case in all the rooms.

I can remember staying in a twin room that had plenty of space the night prior to my wedding. The bridal suite was obviously a lot larger and very well laid out. We had access to the bridal suite to get ready on the morning of my wedding. I remember having plenty of space for me and my bridesmaids to relax and get ready.

Our room was situated at the end of a long corridor, but the signage was ample. We soon worked out we could take the lift down to the ground floor, or the stairs.
We had a very enjoyable stay at the Riviera Hotel and will definitely return again in the future for another stay.
